Get ready for one of Peace Country’s biggest celebrations of music, culture and community! The Energetic County Fair brings people together in the heart of Fort St. John for an unforgettable festival experience for all ages.
With a capacity of 5,000 festivalgoers, the Fair will feature 5 headline concerts and 15 live performances, combining celebrated artists with some of our region’s most exciting local and emerging talent.
But the Energetic County Fair is about much more than great music. Enjoy food, art, cultural experiences, street performers, craft beer gardens, family and children’s entertainment, and plenty to discover throughout the festival grounds.
Celebrate and experience First Nations culture, alongside the many cultures and traditions that make Peace Country such a diverse and vibrant place to call home.
From kids to seniors, longtime residents to first-time visitors, there’s something for everyone at the Energetic County Fair.
Best of all, the festival is proudly 100% volunteer supported by the Energetic County Fair Music Festival Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people together and creating memorable experiences for our community.

Parking
There will be ample parking for festival guests for a fee at the grounds, or free parking available at the Pomeroy Hotel and the New Frontier Pub and grill. There will be a shuttle running through the duration of the festival Friday and Saturday. It is a 10 min drive from the hotel to festival site.

Universal Group is managing all traffic for The Energetic County Fair .
Security Plan
Professional and volunteer security is managing all security for The Enegetic County Fair.
Noise Management
The Energetic County Fair will bring world class live music to our region on a world class stage . The sound will be broadcast towards the lake away from residential areas, into the commerical area to reduce as much interruption as possible . All noice bylaws will be followed and speakers will be directed downward into the audience as much as possible but the sound will travel and are hopes that the sounds of music are welcomed . As per bylaws , the PA system will be completely shut off no later than 11 pm . Of course the best place to enjoy the show is within the fair grounds .
Festival Rules & Etiquette
To make the festival enjoyable for everyone , we have guidelines in place to make create the best atmosphere possible and create an amazing experience. Please see points below.

No outside alcohol or illegal substances allowed.

Smoking not allowed in festival seating area , there will be a designated smoking area.

Outside food or beverages not allowed unless in the case of medical or dietary restrictions.

Please bring your regular sized camping chairs to set up your own comfortable space to enjoy the music in festival. Please be mindful of people behind you by not having objects that will block people's views behind you.
